So instead of doing my assignments, I decided to blog LOL.
It'll be in random order as I try to recap things.
Herbert & I watched 'The Dark Knight'. I was so obsessed with Batman, we went back to Herbert's place and watched 'Batman Begins' :D
Slept over at Herbert's place on Monday night and we went fishing at Watson's Bay with Jeremy, Kevin & Rebecca. 5 minutes into it, Herbert caught a fish and 5 minutes after that he caught an octopus but it was too heavy and the line snapped :O
Had Yum Cha @ Zilver on Thursday with Brina, Priscilla & Tina. Went for coffee @ Starbucks afterwards and it was noice catching up :)
Tina had a mini birthday dinner on Saturday night at her house. Her parents made heaps of yummy food! Hehe played Wii + Monopoly which was fun! Thanks so much for everything Tina, hope you had fun I LOVE YOU
Here are the photos from Tina's bday dinner.
That is all from the top of my head. I'm sleepy!
Uppity Redhead John McKnight
Friend, Mentor and Radical...
John L. McKnight- Wrote a letter of recommendation for Obama to get in to Harvard. In 1985 to 1988, Obama worked for a subsidiary of the Chicago-based Gamaliel Foundation, founded on the principles of Saul "The Red" Alinsky. He worked as a consultant and trainer. On the board of Gamaliel sat Northwestern University professor John L. McKnight, a student of Alinksy's radical tactics While at Gamaliel, McKnight became Obama's mentor in community organizing. When Obama worked for Gamaliel, he was paid by the Woods Foundation, which supported the radical group. Obama would later serve on the Woods Foundation board with terrorist and socialism advocate William Ayers. McKnight schooled young Obama in the gospel according to Alinsky. He apparently saw much promise in the budding politician, a way to advance radical socialist agenda into the highest levels in government.
